Maureen K. Cox

Cox, Maureen K.  of Wollaston, died January 9, 2015. 

Maureen was born in Boston.  She was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing High School in South Boston and Eastern Nazarene College. Maureen worked for N Star for fifteen years before retiring in 2014.  She was a member of Connected Catholics and enjoyed crafts, baking and collecting antiques.  Maureen will be remembered for her kind and gentle  heart and her beautiful smile.  Above all things Maureen loved her four boys and her family,  they were all  truly the  cornerstone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her. 

Beloved daughter of William and Mildred Cox of Quincy.  Loving mother of Robert  Bowes and his wife Elise of Weymouth, Kevin Bowes and his wife Laura of Canton, Brendan Bowes and his wife Lauren of Canton and Sean Bowes of Wollaston. Sister of Michael Cox of Centerville, William Cox of Wollaston, Joseph Cox of Quincy, Brendan Cox of Wollaston and the late Neil and Patrick Cox.  Cherished grandmother of Robert, Jr., Luke, Thomas, Daniel and William.  Maureen is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45am Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM.
