Maureen A. Hardy

Maureen Hardy, 75 of Quincy, MA, passed away on Wednesday February 26, 2025.

Maureen was born in Malden, MA in 1949 to her parents Margaret and Bernie Hardy. She graduated high school from Nazareth Academy in Wakefield where she fine tuned her social butterfly skills. Her summers were spent in Rockport enjoying the sun on Long Beach. As a young adult, Maureen became a flight attendant for Northeast Airlines where she met her former spouse and had 3 children. As a young mother, Maureen was an avid tennis player and enjoyed opening her home for cocktails and appetizers for all her friends. Maureen had a love for holidays. Whether it was going to a costume party, having a traditional holiday meal, or sending her grandchildren a St. Patrick’s Day card, she was always up to celebrate.

Maureen was preceded in death by her parents Margaret and Bernie Hardy and former spouse Stephen Moldt. Maureen is survived by her children Tory Schofill (Louis Schofill), Brett Moldt (Gaylene Moldt) and Brad Moldt, Grandchildren Rex, Brett, Myla, Owen, Chase, Bryson, Colt, Piper. And four siblings Kevin Hardy of Rockport, Brian Hardy of Rockport, Bernadine Sears of Malden, and Erin Hardy of Rockport. 

According to her wishes, Maureen’s ashes will return to the shore of Long Beach, where her heart never left. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
