Maureen C. Kelly

Kelly, Maureen C. (Boyle) of Weymouth, died February 16, 2018 after a courageous battle with vascular dementia. She was 78.

Maureen lived her life for others. She led a 30 year career in nursing at Quincy Hospital and South Shore Hospital. Upon retirement, she continued caring for others for 20 years through holistic medicine and ministry. Maureen was an avid believer in Edgar Cayce spiritual philosophies. She was blessed with lifelong friends whom she enjoyed world travel with, often on spiritual trips that strengthened her faith. As a devoted homemaker, Maureen was happiest when surrounded by family and took great pride in caring for her home. She was also a Matron at the Weymouth Police station. She will be dearly missed.

Beloved wife of the late Joseph M. Kelly. Devoted mother of Colleen McIver and her husband Butch of Quincy, Joseph M. Kelly, Jr. and his wife Johanna of Weymouth, Kristeen Lynch and her late husband Michael of Quincy and the late Kerrin Kelly-Nelson and husband Rick of Rockland. Cherished Gramma Sue of Danee and Eric, Deana, Joe, Tucker, Rachael, Tyler, Kelly and great-grandchildren Aerial and Cora. Loving sister of Gerard Boyle of Concord, Charlene Petruccelli of ME, William Boyle of Plymouth and late Millicent Moynihan. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and dear friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth, Saturday March 10th at 11 AM.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Maureen may be made to the Dementia Unit Activities program at Southwood at Norwell Nursing Home, 501 Cordwainer Drive, Norwell, MA 02061.
