Maureen Brown

Maureen Brown (Perry) of Pembroke passed away on October 29, 2016.

A generous and selfless woman who made time for everyone, Maureen could usually be found outside tending to her flowers, spending time with her family, spoiling her grandchildren, planning parties, and laughing with friends. Maureen retired from Verizon after 33 years of wonderful memories and lifelong friends. She will be sorely missed by all those who were touched by her generosity and kindness.

Beloved wife of Frank C. Brown Jr. of Pembroke. Cherished mother of Ryan Brown and his wife Marissa of Pembroke. Treasured Nani of Maya, Isabella and Liliana. Loving sister of William Pray of Walpole and Rosemarie Grenham of Roslindale. Maureen was the daughter of the late Joseph Perry and Agnes Lowry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in the St. Thecla Parish, Pembroke at 10 AM. Burial in Hanover Center Cemetery, Hanover. Donations in Maureen’s memory may be made to The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, PO. Box 849168, Boston, MA 02284-9168.
