Maureen A. Barry

Barry, Maureen A. of Quincy, formerly Dorchester, died January 22, 2017.  

Maureen adored her family and spending time with them. She loved football and never missed a Patriots game on TV. She was also a devout Catholic and her faith was very important to her. Maureen worked at New England Telephone for 43 years as a group chief operator and was a dedicated employee. She belonged to two clubs, one for over 50 years and the other for over 65 years. She was positive, always smiling, and a caring lady. She loved to have fun and dance and was there for everyone. Maureen will be greatly missed by all who knew her. 

Beloved sister of Francis Barry of Wareham, Kathleen Collins of Quincy, Richard Barry of FL, and the late Elizabeth, Joseph, Michael, John, and Robert Barry. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 10:30 AM.  Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
