Cannata, Maryann E. (Cirino), 82, of Quincy, passed away peacefully on January 8, 2019, surrounded by her loving family.
Beloved wife of 35 years to the late Paul A. Cannata. Loving mother of Rosanne Coronella of Quincy, Lisa Differ of Quincy, Patricia Caulfield of Osterville, Dianne Cannata of Milton and the late Anthony (Tony) Milano. Cherished sister of John Cirino and his wife Ann, of Quincy. Also survived by her loving and devoted grandchildren, great grand children and friends.
Maryann worked at American Student Assistance for 22 years before retiring in 2001. She enjoyed cooking, gardening, knitting, reading and the daily crossword puzzles. She loved to travel around the country with her long-time friend and traveling buddy, Marianne Barry. Maryann was a kind, loving, and generous woman who was devoted to her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Heaven is now blessed with a very special angel.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 10-1 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY followed by a funeral home service at 1 PM. Cremation will follow. A burial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Maryann may be made to The ALS Association Massachusetts Chapter, 685 Canton St – Suite 103, Norwood, MA 02062 or to the Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 309 Waverley Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
