Mary C. (Burke) Wing, of Weymouth, passed away on July 9, 2024.
Mary Wing was the absolutely the BEST MOM 2 girls could've asked for. She would do anything for anybody and made sure we didn't need anything or assisted the best she could with what little she had and when our dad died at a young age, she was our support system our rock. Mary loved quilting, sewing, playing with her fur babies, Oreo, Indiana, Spike and Dillion. She was an avid reader of mysteries, suspense and Sci -Fi books and loved to watch the same type of movies and tv shows. Mom loved the finer things, like seafood, and loved sweets and dressed to the nines with her Firey red hair and red lipstick to go with her spunky showstopper presence and attitude.
To All our friends and family, she was known as Mama Wing. Mom loved dancing and listening to rock, metal and 50's and 60's music. Mom had a front row seat every year to the annual family party Wing Fest. She loved shopping with her 2 daughters, Brenda and Mary Kay, mom especially loved the beach and her family. Her laugh was contagious, and she always has nice things to say of all our friends, who became her friends as well. She was funny and loving and you could hear loud laugh from across the room, she was the bell of the ball, she would always be interested in your ideas and wellbeing and talk to you for hours. Her sparking personality and sparkling blue eyes would light up any room and she will be sorely missed by all those whose lives she touched and will be loved and missed forever. She was like a pebble thrown into a pond whose ripples touched many.
Forever in our hearts.
Beloved wife of the late Leonard E. Wing.
Loving mother of Brenda Wing and Mary Kay Wing both of Weymouth.
Sister of Kevin Burke of Millis, Judith Burke of South Carolina, and William Burke, III of Framingham
