Licari, Mary V. (Hennessey) of East Boston March 24, 2003. Wife of the late A. Leonard “Lenny” Licari. Loving mother of Richard L. Licari of N. Quincy, Stephen J. Licari, Robert A. Licari, Michael P. Licari and James G. Licari, all of East Boston. Mother in law of Nancy and Charlotte. Loving grandmother of James, Molly, Matthew & Doreese Licari. Sister of Patricia M. Downing of N. Quincy and the late Paul R. Hennessey. Sister in law of Catherine Gianino and Sally Hennessey.Relatives & friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, East Boston Thursday at 10 AM. Vistiting hours in Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Wednesday 4-8 PM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne Thursday at 1:30 PM. Mrs. Licari worked as a claims clerk for Blue Cross Blue Shield in Boston for 17 years, retiring in 1987 and was a member of their Retirees Association. She volunteered as a Den mother for the Cub Scouts and was a parishoner of Sacred Heart Church in East Boston for many years. She also worked at John Hancock Life Insurance after she graduated from North Quincy High S School in 1942. She helped her husband run Lenny’s Spa (luncheonette) in East Boston.Donations in memory of Mrs. Licari may be made to Sacred Heart Church, 45 Brooks St., East Boston, MA 02128.
