Mary A. Tower

Tower, Mary A. (Bradley) of Squantum, died February 15, 2025. 

Mary adored her family, especially being “Nana” and “Nana T” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was an avid Boston sports fan and a passionate Notre Dame football fan. She was a devout Catholic and enjoyed sewing, knitting, spending time at the beach in the summer, and her Saturday night dinners with her husband, sister, and brother in law at various Quincy restaurants. Mary loved to decorate her home for the holidays and for whatever season it was. She was a caring and creative woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Beloved wife of 69 years to the late Louis “Lou” Tower, Jr. Loving mother of Mary Lynch and her husband John of Weymouth, Jean McGurl and her husband Kevin of Squantum, Karen Bakalis and her husband Byron of Gaithersburg, MD, Diana Tower of Quincy, and Dawn Donahue and her husband Stephen of Quincy. Cherished sister of Frances Sullivan of Quincy and the late Patricia Bradley and Daniel Bradley, Jr. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the Funeral Mass Saturday 3/8/2025 in Holy Trinity Parish at Most Blessed Sacrament Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Quincy. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Tunnels to Towers Foundation, 2361 Hylan Blvd. Staten Island, NY 10306 or to Wounded Warrior Project, P.O. Box 758517, Topeka, KS 66675.
