Mary T. Steele

Steele, Mary T. (Hoffman) of Quincy formerly of Dorchester, February 3, 2011. Beloved wife and best friend of Michael E. Steele of Quincy. Loving mother of Michael P. Steele of Quincy. Cherished daughter of Teresa M. Hoffman of Quincy and the late Albert Hoffman. Devoted sister of Paul Hoffman and his wife Donna of Weymouth. Mary is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Boston. She attended Sacred Heart School in Quincy and was a High School Graduate of Sacred Heart School in Weymouth and attended U Mass Amherst and U Mass Boston. Mary will be remembered for her zest for life and her incredible generous nature. Mary often crocheted blankets for charity. Mary was an avid sports fan and loved spending time with family and friends. She will truly be missed by all who had the pleasure to know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday February 7, 2011 from 4-8PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Tuesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, North Quincy at 10 AM.
