Mary T. Mclean

McLean, Mary T. (Kennedy) of Weymouth, passed away December 9, 2014.

Mary was born in Brighton, MA then was raised and educated on Mission Hill where she met her husband of over 57 years, Charles. They then married and settled in Braintree to raise their family of four. Mary lived in Braintree until 1991 when she and her husband moved to Weymouth. At this time Mary got involved at Weymouth’s Sacred Heart Church as a Eucharistic Minister. She worked for many years as the Medical Records Director for Pond Meadow Nursing Home in Weymouth. Mary was very devoted to her family especially her grandchildren whom she was very proud of.

Mary is survived by her beloved husband Charles McLean Sr. Devoted mother to Charles McLean Jr. and his wife Dawn of Holbrook, Brian McLean of Weymouth, Michelle Gabriel and her husband Gary of Braintree, and Kerry McLean and his wife Jeanmarie of Rockland. Loving sister to the late Stephen “Joe” Kennedy and Elizabeth “Betty” Canty. Cherished grandmother to seven grandchildren. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 3-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 9:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
