Mary T. Mceachern

McEachern, Mary T. (Donna) of Wollaston, passed away on April 1, 2011 surrounded by the family she cherished. The beloved wife of the late William F. McEachern, Sr. Loving mother of William F. McEachern, Jr. and his wife Diane of Weymouth, Anne Burns and her husband Thomas of Quincy, Marie Cunniff and her husband William of Quincy, James McEachern and his wife Carol of Carver and Susan Wentzell and her husband Mark of Weymouth. Mary is pre-deceased by her sister the late Elizabeth Youngworth Deegan and 2 brothers, J. William Donna and Joseph Donna. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A devout catholic, Mary was a daily communicant at St. Ann’s Parish in Quincy as well as a member of the ladies sodality. She found great pleasure in gardening, reading and the challenge of puzzles. She loved to cook for her family. The true essence of her life was her family and her faith. Mary saw to it that her children grew up with a childhood rich with family love and tradition, which would become the foundation for all that was important to her. Mary will be remembered as a kind woman who brought grace and style to the lives she touched. She will be deeply missed by all those who were blessed to have been part of her amazing life. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
