Carlin, Mary T. (Heapes) of Hingham, June 1, 2009. Loving mother of Ginny H. Carlin of Marshfield and Jennifer Smith of Hingham. Devoted grandmother of Neil R. Smith of Hingham. Sister of Richard Heapes of Hingham. Beloved aunt of Jeanne Conneely, John Heapes, Joanne Fortier, and Ted Heapes. Former wife of the late John H. Carlin. Mary volunteered at the Hingham Public Library. She enjoyed playing in Bridge groups, rose gardening, and was an avid sailor. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham Friday at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Alzheimers Assn., MA Chapter, 311 Arsenal St., Watertown, MA 02472.
