Mary Sugrue

Sugrue, Mary (Foley) of Quincy, died October 21, 2017. Mary was a longtime resident of Quincy. She lived at Town Brook House for many years and had numerous friends there. She enjoyed playing Bingo and shopping. She was also an animal lover and loved Irish music. Mary was devout Catholic. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed going for walks and was very social. Mary will be remembered for her warm and friendly nature. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Beloved wife to John Sugrue of Quincy. Cherished mother to Jim Sugrue of Hingham, Sean Sugrue and his wife Jill of Weymouth, and Mike Sugrue and his wife Jill of West Roxbury. Dear sister to Joseph Foley and his wife Kathleen of Ireland and the late John Foley. Devoted Grandma to Emily, Aiden, Conor, Ava, Patrick and John. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 6-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Joseph’s Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
