Mary Rose Geiger

Geiger, Mary Rose of Quincy, died November 03, 2009, at the age of 99. Beloved sister of Madeline T. Geiger of Quincy and the late August C., Aloysius and Francis L. Geiger, Sr. Mary Milburga O.S.F., and Dorothy Pawlowski. Cherished aunt of 3 nieces, 5 nephews and several grand-nieces, grand-nephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews. Mary was the secretary for the Boston Archdiocesan Choir School in Cambridge, retiring in 1985. She was the prior legal secretary for the Immaculate Conception Young Ladies Sodality at Holy Trinity German Church in Boston. Mary also sang in the Choir at Holy Trinity and volunteered there since 1944. She was the past President of the National Catholic Women’s Union where she was a member for 60 years. In addition to her devotion to her faith, Mary also loved traveling and spending time with her family. She will be dearly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation Saturday at 9 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY, prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 11 AM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
