Mary R. Mcgrath

Mary R. (Carbone) McGrath of South Weymouth, peacefully entered into eternal life on March 13, 2015.  Her children were at her side.  As a woman of devout faith, Mary was a regular parishioner at St. Francis Xavier 9am daily mass for over 40 years.  She took great pride in her family, her home, and enjoyed tending to her yard and her gardens.  Her family was the foundation of all that was important to her. Mary will be dearly missed by all who knew her. 

 Beloved wife of 56 years to the late John McGrath. Devoted mother of Mary Poor and her husband Donald of Georgia, John McGrath of Brockton, Larry McGrath and his wife Carol of Bridgewater, Carol McGrath of South Weymouth, Michael McGrath and Shaye Dottin of Billerica, Laurie Dauphinee and her husband Scott of Holbrook, Denise McGrath of South Weymouth and Donna McGrath of South Weymouth. Cherished “Nana” of 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Loving sister of Dotty Divisano of Attleboro and her late sisters Jo Rossello and Chia O’Connell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.   

 Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) 

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM.

Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mary may be made to St. Francis Xavier Parish, 234 Pleasant Street, Weymouth, MA 02190.
