Mary R. (Fusco) Delaney of Weymouth, passed away August 18, 2022.

She was the daughter of the late Cosmo “Sam” and Adeline (Tantillo) Fusco.

Mary was born and raised in Quincy MA, and lived over the years in Holbrook, Braintree, Fort Myers, FL, Brockton, and Weymouth. She was a graduate of Quincy High School Class of 1946, and worked at several places through the years including Electroswitch, Jordan Marsh, Hostess at Lambiase’s Restaurant, J.J. Fusco Plumbing, and as a housekeeper. Mary was an avid gardener and Sudoku, Scrabble, and Bingo enthusiast, and was a lover of ballroom dancing, Humarock growing up and she loved her Devil Dogs. She will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered as one very special lady by all who knew her. 

Loving Mother of Karen Jarvis and her husband James of Weymouth, Dan Delaney of Arizona, and Steven Delaney and his wife Sheri of Florida. She is predeceased by her companion William Crombie and her ex-husband John W. Delaney. Mary is also survived by Bill’s sons William Crombie and his wife Patricia, Steven Crombie and his wife Nancy, Mark Crombie and his wife Carla, Brian Crombie and his wife Sherri, and his daughter Karen Wyson and her husband Joseph. Beloved sister of the late Andrew Fusco and his wife Esther of Abington, the late Anna Fusco of Bryantville, the late James Fusco of Pembroke, the late Frances Bernabeo and her husband Victor, the late Marguerite Perrelli and her husband Leonard, and the late Virginia Pendergast and her husband Edward. Also survived by her beloved grandchildren: Michael and Jessica Jarvis, Jordan, Jena and Jack Delaney, Kayla, Brooke, Michele, and Ryan Delaney, and by her great-grandchildren Rowen, River, and Mylah; and “Grandma Mary” to 12 step-grandchildren and 18 step-great-grandchildren. Also survived by her nieces: Lynne Wyatt, Mary Jacobs, Lisa Monaghan, Jean Lothrop, Linda Pendergast, and her nephews: Joe and John Delaney, David Bernabeo, Tom, James and the late Ronnie and Gerald Fusco. Loving sister-in-law to Genevieve Fusco of Bryantville.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Friday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 AM Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10:00 AM. Burial in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. In loving memory of Mary, please consider a donation to Beacon Hospice.
