Mary R. Bouchie

Bouchie, Mary R. (Garvin) of North Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, passed away on April 23, 2012, she was 95. Wife of the late Albert F. Bouchie. Loving mother of Paul Bouchie and his wife Nannette Landry of Scituate, Albert Bouchie and his wife Barbara of Belmont, Anne Carey and her husband Brian of Braintree and the late Henry Bouchie and his wife Sheila Bouchie of Weymouth and Peter Bouchie and his wife Carolee Cheney of Quincy. Sister of Frances Harrington, Margaret Duggan both of Quincy and Joseph Garvin of Bresksville, Ohio and the late Elizabeth Lynch, Thomas Garvin, Sr., Catherine ”Patsy” Garvin, Alice McHale, Ann Gavin and Peter Garvin. Mary is survived by her nephew Michael Finn of Dorchester and her 11 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Mary is predeceased by 2 grandchildren Adam Carey and Genevieve Bouchie. She also leaves behind many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Mary was born and raised in Dorchester, she is one of the oldest Parabilis Club members. She worked for the New England Telephone company for many years. The foundation of Mary’s life was her family, she was devoted to them and in return they cherished her. They are saddened at the loss of their mother, but they are grateful for all the blessings she brought into their lives. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home on Friday at 9:15am prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10am . Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.
