Mary R. Bilwin

Bilwin, Mary R. (D’Arrigo) of Quincy died May 15, 2018 in the comfort of her home surrounded by her family.

Mary lived for and adored her loving family. She was happiest when they gathered together in her home and she could entertain for holidays and special occasions. She especially loved decorating for Christmas. Mary loved to cook and had quite an impressive library of cookbooks. She really enjoyed shopping, playing scrabble, and her many years of summer vacations with her family and in laws down the Cape. Mary was so proud of her daughter, son, and three grandchildren. Her greatest joys were watching her granddaughter dance, her grandson’s sporting events and spending time with her beloved husband. After working for approximately 30 years at Tufts Medical Center Hospital as an administrative secretary, she started MRB Word Processing, a medical transcription business. Mary is described by all who knew and loved her as happy, laughing, kind, sweet, fun, positive, patient and strong. She lived life simply and to the fullest. Mary will be greatly missed by all.

Daughter of the late Epifano and Mary (Rigoli) D’Arrigo. Beloved wife of Edward Bilwin of Quincy. Cherished mother of Linda Sullivan and her late husband Paul M. Sullivan Jr. of Wakefield and John Bilwin of Quincy. Loving sister of Anthony D’Arrigo and his wife Christine of Quincy. Adoring “Nonni” of Matthew, Michael, and Katherine Sullivan. Loving aunt of Susan, Lisa, and Anthony D’Arrigo and his wife Beth. Also survived by many extended family and friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
