Mary Quinn

Quinn, Mary (Clougherty) of Quincy, formerly of Dorchester, October 14, 2004. Wife of the late Patrick Quinn. Loving mother of Peter Quinn of MT, John Quinn of Quincy, Tony Quinn of FL, Michael Quinn of Quincy, and Elena Clarke of Milton. Sister of the late Tom, Michael, Peter Clougherty, Pegga Mulkern, Brid Durrant, and Kate Keaney. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, her late grandson Terence Quinn and a great grandaughter. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., WOLLASTON Monday at 8 AM. Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, N. Quincy at 9:00 AM. Visiting hours Sunday 1-3 and 7- 9 PM. Burial in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.Mary immigrated to the US in 1950 from Ireland. She worked as a Nurse’s Aid at the Boston State Hospital retiring in 1975 and earlier she worked for New England Telephone. She was commonly referred to “Ma Ring Buster” in Meeting House Hill Area of Dorchester (St. Peter’s Section).
