Mary P. Granahan

Granahan, Mary P. (Cole) “Pat” of Quincy, died May 29, 2014.

Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Granahan.  Devoted mother of Barbara Champney and her husband Robert of Hopkinton, Patricia Granahan and her husband Terrance Skelton of Cambridge and  Joan Delaney and her husband Mike of Quincy.  Cherished grandmother of Kara Conlon, Kevin Champney, Chris Delaney, David Delaney, Nathaniel Johnson and Brian Johnson.  Pat is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren.  Sister in law of Jean and Steve Moynihan of Quincy.  Dear friend of 89 years to Dottie Busiek of Marshfield.

Pat was born in Boston and lived in Quincy most of her life.  She was a graduate of North Quincy High School.  Pat married the boy next door and was happily married for 52 years.  She was a member of North Quincy Catholic Women’s Club, Sodality and  Arts and Crafts at Sacred Heart.  Most of all Pat’s family was the most important aspect of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 9:00-10:30 AM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 10:15 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Quincy at 11 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
