Mary Munro Henderson

Mary Munro Henderson (Mackie) of Winder, GA formally of Sebastian, FL and Rockland, MA died April 2, 2016

Mary was originally born in Scotland and grew up in southern Illinois and raised her family in Massachusetts. She is preceded in death by her husband Joseph Henderson and sons William J. Henderson and James Henderson.  As well as siblings Elva Flynn and Bryan Mackie.  She is survived by her sisters Ann Hobbs of Raynham, Elizabeth Rodney of Rockland.  Mary had 4 grandchildren: Scott Henderson of Hoschton, GA, Diane Henderson of San Francisco, CA, Bryan Henderson of McDonough, GA, Beth Henderson Murphy of Winder, GA. and many nieces and nephews  She was Memaw to 7 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She retired from Woolworths, enjoyed watching the Atlanta Braves, square dancing, quilting and crocheting.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on Friday from 10-11 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital), followed by her Funeral Service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery, Abington. 

In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to be made to Meals on Wheels of Winder, GA
