Mary Mccready

McCready, Mary (Downing) of Hull, formerly of Somerville,  died July 30, 2013. Beloved wife of Robert T. McCready of Hull.  Loving mother of Robert J. McCready and his wife Aimee of  Gardner and Tara T. Palmieri and her husband Steve  of Gardner. Sister of Patricia DeMaras of Lowell and Hull, Margaret Harris of Lexington, Jane Downing of Hull and the late Jeremiah Downing.  Cherished grandmother of Abby and Jack McCready and Ryan Palmieri.  

Mary was born in Boston and grew up in Somerville.  She and her husband Robert settled in Hull where they lived for the past 36 years.   Mary was a successful   Real Estate Broker, currently managing Jack Conway’s   Hingham location.  Before Real Estate Mary was a dedicated math teacher and department head at Fontbonne Academy in Milton where she also coached the ski team and was Moderator of the National Honor Society.  She was a gifted musician often sharing her music and playing the guitar at family parties.  Mary enjoyed playing golf with her husband whenever she had the time.  Most of all Mary loved spending time with her family especially her grandchildren who were the cornerstone of her life.  She will be missed by all who had the pleasure to have known her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
