Mary M. Sweeney-Buckley

Mary M. Sweeney-Buckley (McDonough) of Middleboro, passed away May 16, 2017.

Mary was born in Boston and was a lifelong Weymouth resident. Mary spent many years working as a Nurse in the Weymouth Schools. She was a longtime parishioner at Immaculate Conception Church where she was a Eucharistic Minister. Mary’s family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Southwood At Norwell Nursing for their generosity and care.

Beloved wife of the late Edward Sweeney and the late Richard Buckley. Mother of Mary Carney and her husband Mark of Weymouth, Edward Sweeney and his companion Adrienne Smith of E. Bridgewater, Joseph Sweeney and his wife Leslie of Plymouth, William Sweeney and his wife Clare of Lexington, Daniel Sweeney and his wife Maureen of Abington, William Buckley and his wife Lucy of Middleboro and Robert Buckley and his wife Janet of N. Attleboro. Sister of Richard McDonough and Daniel McDonough. Predeceased by her siblings James McDonough and Patricia Coyne. Proud Nana of 19 and Great Nana of 7. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 10 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 11 AM. Burial in St. Francis Xavier Cemetery, Weymouth.
