Mary M. Hajjar

Mary M. “Sis” Hajjar (Connolly) of Weymouth, formerly of Charlestown, died peacefully with family by her side on February 1, 2017 at the age of 97.

Mary worked for Bank of Boston for 25 years. Throughout her life, she always enjoyed dancing. She was the wife of the late Thomas P. Hajjar and the late Vincent F. O’Brien. Loving mother of Marilyn T. Hill and husband Richard of Braintree, Regina M. McColgan and husband Robert of Ballston Spa, NY and the late Carol A. O’Brien. Sister of the late Joseph and William Connolly. Cherished grandmother of Christopher Hill; Jason and Jonathan McColgan; and the late Brian M. Hill.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visitation on  Monday from 8:30-9:30 AM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital) prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Ascend Hospice, 100 Locke Dr. Marlborough, MA 01752.
