Mary M. Cormier

Cormier, Mary M. (Wheeler), age 69, of Rockland, passed away on June 2nd, surrounded by her family, after a lengthy illness.

Beloved wife of Ralph J. Cormier for 42 years. Loving mother to Michael Cormier and his wife Amy of Rockland, Michelle Marvin and her husband Christopher of Nashua, NH and Richard Cormier and his wife Colleen of Franklin. Proud Nana to seven grandchildren. Sister of John J. Wheeler and friend Beth Macomber of NH, James Wheeler and his fiancé Denise Giannone of Easton, the late Donald Wheeler and his wife Lois of Bridgewater, Catherine A. Wheeler of Abington, Joan Sullivan and her husband Bob of Hanover. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and close family friends.

Mary was born in Boston and raised in Jamaica Plain and Randolph by the late Catherine F. and John W. Wheeler. Mary worked at New England Telephone and Telegraph Company in Boston, WearGuard in Norwell, and was an Avon Sales Rep for many years.

She was a lifelong sports fan and a Red Sox fanatic. Mary was happiest when surrounded by her family and friends. Mary enjoyed game night with her friends, shopping trips with the girls, and traveling. She loved Hampton Beach, cheering on the Sox at Fenway, and adored spending time with her grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital).

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 7:45 AM on Thursday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary of the Sacred Heart Church, Hanover at 9 AM.

Burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Randolph.
