Mary M. (Dunlap) Barbiere

Mrs. Mary M. (Dunlap) Barbiere, of Weymouth passed away on July 28, 2021.

Mary enjoyed sewing and for many years had the honor of making baptismal gowns for Saint Mary of the Nativity Church in Scituate. She always enjoyed taking walks on Nantasket Beach with her daughter as well as supporting and walking for the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Society. Getting together with her sisters every Sunday for dinner was very important to her, a family tradition carried on.

Mary was married to the late Joseph R. Barbiere.

She is survived by her daughter, Denise DeTommaso and her husband, Jon, of Weymouth. Sister of Elizabeth A. Dwyer of Scituate, the late George A. Dunlap, Viola W. Holbert of Scituate, Caroline A. Morris of Scituate, John P. Dunlap and his wife, Tootie, of Maine, and Henry S. Dunlap and his wife, Bonnie, of Florida. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to pay their respects to the family during the visiting hours on Monday 5-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street).

Funeral services will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in the Funeral Home. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
