Mary Louise Donaher

Mary Louise Donaher (Yarrison) of Weymouth, died July 10, 2013.

After high school, Mary Lou was part of the Cadet Nurse Corp. After various nursing positions, one of which she received a prestigious award for outstanding nursing, she served in the U.S. Navy. Throughout the years, she held various professional nursing positions, the last of which was industrial nurse at Pneumatic Scale for 15 years. A very faithful woman, Mary Lou was proud of her conversion to Catholicism. She enjoyed flowers and tending to her garden. She will be remembered for her boundless generosity and kindness.

Beloved wife of 61 years to James E.Donaher. Loving mother of James E. Donaher, II of and his wife Gina of Walpole and Michael Donaher and his wife Diane of Abington. Sister of Betty Scharon of VA and the late Evelyn Bull. Cherished “Gran” to five grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home EAST WEYMOUTH at 3 Charles Street (corner of Charles & Middle Street). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at Monday at 9:45 AM prior to the Funeral Mass in Immaculate Conception Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:30 PM. Donations in memory of Mary Lou may be made to a charity of your choice.
