Mary Louise Igo

Igo, Mary Louise (Strange) “Mary Lou” of Hingham, died May 29, 2015. 

Mary Lou was a strong and devoted family woman who dedicated her life to caring for those she loved.  She spent her free time shopping for a great bargain and caring for her dogs.  Mary Lou spent her summers entertaining her family and friends on the front porch of her beach house in Green Harbor, Marshfield, MA.  She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife of Richard Igo of Hingham. Loving mother of Timothy Igo and his wife Lauren of Buffalo, NY, Jon Igo of Hingham, Richard Igo, Jr. and his wife Julie of Weymouth and the late Beth Igo.  Devoted grandmother of Kelsey, Matthew, Courtney, Peter and Rachel.  Caring sister of Tom Strange and his wife Mary of Marshfield Hills, Jack Strange and his wife Anne of Dennisport and the late Anne Healy. Cherished life long best friend of Virginia Rowan.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at  9:15 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in Church of the Resurrection, Hingham at 10 AM . Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
