LOGAN, Mary L. “Lil” ( Manning) of Avon died on Thursday , March 17, 2011 surrounded by her family, she was 92. The beloved wife of the late Edward J. Logan. Loving mother of Arleen M. Wilson and her husband James of Avon and Paula J. Bartosiak and her husband Michael of Quincy. Cherished Nana of Paul E. Wilson, Dale W. Wilson and Jonelle M. Wilson all of Avon. GG of Brittany Ann Wilson and Connor Edward Wilson. She is predeceased by Patrick Manning, John Manning, Bartholomew Manning, Martin Manning, Rita Banik, Esther MacGillivary, Agnes Huntley and baby Thomas Manning. Lil is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Lil was born in Boston and spent many years in South Boston. She was a graduate of South Boston High School and would later become the cook at the high school. Her life was rich with family love and that was the foundation for all that was important to her. She was an active member of the Avon senior citizens and was a member of the paternal order of Eagles. The essence of her life was her family. She will be remembered as a devoted mother, grandmother and great grandmother who brought grace and style to the lives that she touched, so characteristically of the way she lived her life. Lil will be sadly missed by all those who were blessed to have known her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 pm in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St. Quincy. Funeral service will be private. Burial in Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne. In lieu of flowers, donations maybe made to Lighthouse International – Help find a cure to Retinitis Pigmentosa eye condition, 111 East 59th St. New York, New York, 10022-1202.
