Mary L. Poor

Poor, Mary L. (Bradley) of Hull, passed away March 10, 2012. Beloved wife of the late Warren Poor. Loving mother of Betty and Frank Saunders, Brad and Sandy Poor, of Hull, Laura and Mike Joaquin, Carol and Barry Green of Weymouth. Also survived by her sister Elaine and Ed Harju, cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and also her loyal dog, Rufus. Born in Boston, grew up in Fitchburg, MA. Mary graduated from Fitchburg High in 1950, and Leominster Nursing School in 1955. Married in 1955, she worked as a Registered Nurse for several Boston Area hospitals, and retired 1991 from the Lemuel Shattuck Hospital after 29 years of service. In her spare time she enjoyed following the Boston Red Sox and playing Fascination in Hull. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), Hingham. Funeral services will be celebrated on Friday at 10 AM in Saint Nicholas United Methodist Church, 130 Spring Street, Hull. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery.
