McDonald, Mary L. (Glover) of QUINCY, died peacefully, on December 17, 2015.

Mary worked for the Quincy Police Department as a Traffic Supervisor for over 30 years primarily at the corner of E. Squantum Street and Bayfield Road In North Quincy.

Wife of the late Walter F. McDonald. Daughter of the late William and Katherine (Donovan) Glover. Mother of Karen M. Simmons and her husband, Michael, of Norwell, Gerald F. McDonald and his wife, Frances, of Pembroke, and Paul W. McDonald and his wife, Jackie, of Quincy. Grandmother of Katherine (Simmons) Potteiger and her husband, Jared, and Matthew, Kevin, and Mary Kate McDonald. Sister of the late William R. Glover, Jr. Sister-in-law of Sally Glover of Centerville. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:45 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Ann’s Church, Quincy at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow in Mt. Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy.
