Mary L. Hawley

Hawley, Mary L. of Whitman, died December 15, 2014. She was 81.

Mary grew up in Boston and has lived in Whitman for over 40 years. She worked as a school teacher in Braintree for many years. In her early years she enjoyed painting and had an artistic flare. More recently, Mary enjoyed the quiet serenity of bird watching. She will be sadly missed. 

Loving sister of Edward Hawley, Jr. of Wrentham and the late Margaret Sauer and Michael Hawley. Cherished aunt of James and Robert Sauer, Helen Duane, Loretta English, Michael Hawley, Jr., Andrew Hawley and many great nieces and nephews. Dear sister-in-law of Winnifred Hawley.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church, Weymouth, Thursday at 9:30 AM. Burial in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, West Roxbury.

In lieu of flowers donations in memory of Mary may be made to the Wrentham Developmental Center, P.O. Box 144, Wrentham, MA 02093.
