Wells, Mary K. (Coyle) RN of Weymouth, went peacefully into our savior’s arms June 6, 2014 while surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was born, raised, and educated here in Weymouth. During WWII she went to nursing school, became licensed as a registered nurse, and became a member of the Cadet Nurse Corps stationed at Bellevue Hospital in New York City. After raising five children here in Weymouth Mary returned to nursing and eventually retired from Quincy City Hospital as a Supervisor of Nurses.

Loving wife of the late Arthur J. Wells Sr. Devoted mother to the late Arthur J. Wells Jr., Mary is survived by William F. Wells and his wife Theresa of Braintree, Mary E. King and her husband Joseph of Hanson, Robert C. Wells of Kingston, Virginia A. Famolare and her husband Thomas of Weymouth. Also survived by 14 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home NORTH WEYMOUTH at 40 Sea Street (off RT.3A-Bicknell Sq.)  Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in Fairmount Cemetery, Weymouth.
