Cyr, Mary K. (Munzert) of Quincy, formerly of West Roxbury, passed away February 7, 2012. Beloved wife of Nicholas L. Cyr of Quincy. Loving mother of Katie E. Walsh and her fiancé Jack Liuzzo of Quincy and Shaun P. Walsh and his wife Kristin of Weymouth. Sister of Maureen Carbone and her husband Chris of Hingham, William Munzert and his wife Lee-Ann of Pawtucket, RI and the late James Munzert, Jr. Cherished grandmother of Owen and Haley Walsh of Weymouth and Jaelyn and Kylie Barry of Quincy. Sister in Law of Barbara Munzert of Hull. Mary was the daughter of the late James and Mary Munzert. Mary is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Mary was born and raised in West Roxbury. She was a graduate of St. Claire’s High School in Roslindale. Mary was a Union Carpenter for Local 33 in Boston for the past 20 years. Mary will be remembered by her family as a women who enjoyed spending time with her family, cooking, going for motorcycle rides with her husband Nick. She also had a love for the beach and the ocean. Mary’s family was truly the cornerstone of her life. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure to have know her. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in Holy Trinity Parish at Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, Quincy at 10 AM. Cremation will follow. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
