Mary K. Buckley

Buckley, Mary “Mae” K. (Conlon) of Weymouth, died unexpectedly on January 13, 2014. 

The beloved wife of 52 years to William J.  Buckley of Weymouth. Loving mother of Regina Hennelly and her husband  Robert of Weymouth, Marianne Buckley of Marshfield and Charlene O’Loughlin and her husband Tim of VA formerly of Marshfield. Sister of Carol Ann Walling of Plaistow, NH, John Conlon of Weymouth, James “Sonny” Conlon of South Boston and Robert Conlon of Weymouth, Mae is predeceased by her two brothers Eugene and Paul Conlon. Devoted grandmother of Thomas Buckley and his wife Stephanie, Hillary, Lyndsay and Kerri Hennelly and Matthew and Tighe O’Loughlin. Great Grandmother of Fiona Mae and Layla Buckley. Mae is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A longtime Quincy resident, Mae enjoyed shopping, traveling, going out to lunch with friends, decorating her home but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be remembered for her bubbly personality and her unique way of making everyone feel special and welcomed. The foundation of her life was her family, she adored them and in return they cherished her. She will be sadly missed by her family, but they feel blessed for all the blessing she brought into their lives. 

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Saturday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
