Wallace, Mary Jayne (Moore) of South Boston, recently of Weymouth, passed away October 1, 2021. She was born and raised in South Boston to the late Robert and Joan Moore. Mary Jayne worked for many years as a Teachers Aid for Boston Public Schools. She enjoyed playing BINGO every night with her husband, hanging by the pool, vacationing at her home in Florida and loved spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren. She was considered a Queen by all who were lucky enough to know her.
Beloved wife of 40 years to William P. Wallace, Jr. of South Boston. Loving mother of William “Billy” P. Wallace, III of Beverly and Patrick R. Wallace of Weymouth. Dear sister of Marilyn Lucas of Quincy and the late Robert Moore. Loving sister in law to Robert Lucas. Adored niece to Jeanne Hanley of South Boston and the late Kenny Hanley and his wife Rose. Devoted Nana to Nolan Wallace, Patrick R. Wallace Jr. and Juliana R. Wallace. Cherished Aunt of Sean Wallace, Paige Lucas, Robert Lucas and Peyton Lucas. Also survived by her best friend Connie Reggiannini and many other longtime friends.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Wednesday 4-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 8:45 on Thursday, prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Brigid Parish, South Boston at 10AM.
