Mary Jane Igo

Igo, Mary Jane (Duffy) of Marshfield died unexpectedly at her home on November 28, 2007. Wife of the late Henry J. Igo.Devoted mother of Lisa Anne Igo of Sandwich, Stephanie Igo of Fairhaven, Mark Igo of Hingham and Christopher Igo and his wife Alyssa of Duxbury. Sister of Robert Duffy and his wife Karen of Marshfield and the late Margaret Devereaux. Loving grandmother of Daniel, Henry, Michael, Brett, Brooke and Scott. Mrs. Igo was a longtime Hingham resident who was widowed as a young wife and mother. She raised four children while serving the Commonwealth as a social worker, following a career as a flight attendant for Northeast Airlines. She was a graduate of Mt. Ida College in Newton. She cherished her children and grandchildren, enjoyed cooking, the companionship of her dogs, and was an avid Red Sox fan. She was born in Newport, Rhode Island. Daughter of the late Mary M. Duffy and Edward G. Duffy a retired U.S. Naval Officer. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St., HINGHAM, Wednesday at 9 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Paul’s Church, Hingham at 10 AM. Visiting hours Tuesday 4- 8 PM. Burial in Saint Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
