Mary J. Ritchie

Mary J. Ritchie (Kelly) of Weymouth, died August 9, 2015 at the age of 88 surrounded by her loving family.

Mary was very proud to grow up in South Boston where she met her late husband Clayton J. Ritchie. Clayton and Mary later moved to South Weymouth to raise their three daughters. After Clayton’s retirement, they wintered in Port Richey, FL for 20 years. Mary was a woman of strong faith. Home and family were the center of her life.

Mary was the loving mother of Karen Edwards of Plymouth, Debra Hughes and her husband Michael of Weymouth, and Maureen Cook and her husband William of Mashpee. She is survived by her brother Paul Kelly of Washington and predeceased by 12 other brothers and sisters.She is also survived by 7 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Thursday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Friday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne at 1:45 PM.
