Gray, Mary J. (Marnon) of Marion formerly of Hingham died January 11, 2015.

Beloved wife of the late Dr. Richard Neville and John Gray.  Loving mother of Jane Mitchell and her husband Paul of Hingham, Catherine Koran and her husband Mark of Marion, Virginia Crisp and her husband Michael of Hanson, Charles Neville and his wife Kelly of Franklin, Richard Neville and his wife Jennifer of Weymouth, Denise Flaherty and her husband Tadhg of Melrose, Mark  Neville of Marion and John Gray and his wife Maryann of Hanson.  Sister of Ann Scheele of Scituate, Donald Marnon of Alabama, Thomas Marnon of California, Gerald Marnon of Stoneham, Gregory Marnon of Haverhill and the late John Marnon.  Mary is also lovingly survived by 16 grandchildren. 

Mary was born in Buffalo, New York and grew up in Melrose.  She lived in Hingham for many years before moving to Marion 23 years ago.  She loved being at home cooking and entertaining for her family.  She followed her children as they grew attending all of their sporting events and volunteering at their schools when ever she could, this tradition passed down as she watched her grandchildren grow as well.  She enjoyed researching the family genealogy and her Irish Heritage.   She was involved in Letters to Hanoi which helped Vietnam, Prisoners of War.  She will be missed by all of those who had the pleasure to have known and loved her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Memorial Mass Thursday at 10 AM in St. Paul’s Church, Hingham.
