Mary E. Harrington

Mary E. Harrington of Abington, formerly of Weymouth, died April 21, 2025, she was 76. Daughter of the late Thomas A. Harrington of Weymouth and Mary (Shaughnessy) Harrington of Weymouth. Cherished sister of Raymond Harrington and his wife, Mary of Mattapoisett and Helen Harrington of Weymouth. She is survived by many cousins and special family friend, Justin Nelson.

Mary was a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Weymouth and then continued on to Bridgewater State University where she pursued a  Bachelors Degree and Masters in Education. Mary was a life long teacher for Weymouth Public Schools.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Monday 4/28/2025 from 2 - 4 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15 AM on Tuesday 4/29/2025 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in Village Cemetery, Weymouth. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Jimmy Fund, 1309 Beacon Street, Brookline, MA 02446.
