Mary H. “Marie” St. Pierre

Mary H. “Marie” (Kinnally) St. Pierre, of Hanover, formerly of Hernando, FL and Weymouth, passed away surrounded by family on January 2nd, 2024.

Daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Asmus) Kinnally. Loving wife of the late Noel J. St. Pierre of Hanover. Devoted mother of Suzanne Lydon and her husband Rick of Hanover and Sean St. Pierre and his wife Andrea of Woodbine, MD. Beloved Grandmother “Nanny” to Brooke Lydon and her husband Matt Ziff of Newton; Ricky Lydon and his wife Katherine of Colorado Springs, CO;  and Shannon and Keira St. Pierre of Woodbine, MD. Great Grandmother to Violet Zoe Ziff of Newton. Loving sister to Sr. Katherine Kinnally of Bridgeport, CT, Carol and Patty Kinnally of Weymouth, Peggy Moriello and her husband Joe of Bridgewater, and Joey and Chris Kinnally of Hull. Dear sister-in-law to Paul and Carol St. Pierre of Cohasset, and Joanne and her husband Paul Broderick of Quincy. And loving Grand-dog-mother of Buddy, Lily, Meeko and Jock.

Marie, up until recently had been a golf enthusiast while living in Hernando, FL. She was an avid gardener, keeping things up during the summers in her Hanover backyard. She had previously worked for many years at Caldor’s in Weymouth while juggling the demands of her two young children. Marie was “Nanny” to more than just her own grandchildren. At any time, any place she would have candy or a gift for you, no matter who you were. And if you were lucky enough to be a dog, a treat was never less than an arm’s length away.

Visiting hours on Monday 1/8 from 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9 AM on Tuesday 1/9 prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis of Assisi Church, Braintree at 10 AM.
