Crowley, Mary H. (Halloran) of Franklin, died January 8, 2022.
Mary received her Bachelor’s of Art from Massachusetts College of Art and Design. She was a long time art and music teacher. Mary met the love of her life while both teaching at Newburyport High School, Mary was also the supervisory teacher and head art teacher for the Town of Newburyport. Mary later went on to retire from teaching at Sacred Heart High School. Mary was a devout Catholic and was active in her church. She enjoyed reading mystery novels and always finding the good in people. Mary will be remembered for her loving and caring personality. She will be sadly missed by all those who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Beloved wife of 50 years to the late Charles M. Crowley. Loving mother of John Crowley of Readville, Michael Crowley and his wife Sheryl of Berlin, David Crowley of Jamaica Plain and the late Charles J. Crowley and the late Mary P. Crowley. Devoted grandmother of Samantha Crowley and Devin Crowley. Cherished sister of Sarah McNaught of Braintree and the late John Halloran and the late Paul Halloran. Also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family and dear friends.
Masks are strongly encouraged during services. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to greet the family during the visiting hours on Sunday 2-6 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Francis Xavier Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial in MA National Cemetery, Bourne on Tuesday at 12:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary may be made to Catholic Charities of Boston, 51 Sleeper St., Boston, MA 02210 or to St. Anthony Shrine at Development Office, St. Anthony Shrine, 100 Arch Street, Boston, MA 02110.
