Mary F. “Maisie” Mccarthy

McCarthy, Mary F. “Maisie” (Halpin) Kilroy- of Quincy, died January 27, 2014. 

Maisie worked as a long time nurses aid for the Eventide nursing facility in Quincy where she met many wonderful friends over the years including her dear friend Peggy White.  She enjoyed spending time with her beloved dog Angel and was an avid QVC shopping.  Maisie’s life passion was her family and the time spent with her loved ones.  She will be sadly missed.

Loving wife of the late David McCarthy and the late George Kilroy.  Beloved mother of Karen Fahey and her companion Seth Cohen of Peabody, Maureen Kilroy of Quincy and George Kilroy, Jr. and his wife Stacey of Weymouth.  Step-mother of David McCarthy, Jr. and his wife Nancy of Raynham, Paul McCarthy and his wife Patricia of Weymouth and Joseph McCarthy and his wife Darlene of Dover, NH.  Loving sister of William Halpin and his wife Kathleen of Quincy, Claire Halpin and her companion Jerry of Marshfield and Lori Brewster and her husband Edward of Weymouth. Cherished Nana of 15 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.  Also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Friday 4-7 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Friday at 7 PM in Keohane Funeral Home.
