Mary F. Lydon

Lydon, Mary F. (Hayes) of Quincy, passed away June 7, 2017.

Mary was born and raised in South Boston and later moved to the Houghs Neck area of Quincy. She worked for many years at Samoset Pharmacy as a cashier. She loved spending time with her friends and family, especially her grandchildren who brought her so much joy and happiness. Mary loved reading, bingo, playing cards and trivia with friends and shopping, particularly the tax-free shopping in New Hampshire. She will be sadly missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Beloved wife to the late William Lydon (BPD). Cherished mother to Kelly Ann Lydon of Cohasset, Lynne Younie of Berlin, NH, William Lydon of Quincy, Shawn Lydon of Quincy, and Janice Hawes and her husband Thomas of Quincy. Devoted sister to Barbara Drooker of South Boston, Dorothea Schreffler and her husband Charles of Weymouth, James Hayes and his wife Lois of Weymouth and the late Carol Ann Ceurvels and Janice Brelsford. Sister-in-law to Robert Ceurvels of West Bridgewater. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family and close friends.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 4-8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY. Funeral service will be celebrated on Tuesday at 11 AM in Keohane Funeral Home, Quincy. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree.
