Mary Ellen (Vigneau) Neville of Weymouth and Hingham, died October 13, 2020 at the age of 86.
Mary Ellen loved the ocean and boating. She was a commercial artist and enjoyed drawing, knitting and crocheting. Most of all she loved helping others and caring for her family.
She was the wife of the late Dr. John V. Neville. Loving mother of Kathleen E. Kelley of Quincy, Laureen P. Kiley and her husband Bernard J. Jr. of Trumbull, CT, and Patrick M. Neville and his wife Marci of North Easton. Sister of Francis Vigneau of Bath, ME, Peter Vigneau of Carver, the late Jacqueline Brenner, and the late Daniel Vigneau. Cherished “Nan” of Sean, Kerry, Michael, Brian, Ryan, Patrick and her great granddaughter Chloe. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Tuesday 4-7 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital). Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:30 AM on Wednesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Jerome Church, Weymouth at 10:30 AM. Burial in St. Paul’s Cemetery, Hingham.
The family would like to extend sincere appreciation and gratitude to Michael Brown, The Residence at Five Corners and Seasons Hospice for the wonderful care given to Mary Ellen and the accomodations made to her family.
Donations in memory of Mary Ellen may be made to Seasons Hospice, 597 Randolph Avenue, Milton, MA 02186.
Normally, the funeral is an opportunity for the community to gather in support of one another. For those unable to gather together with Mary Ellen’s family at this time, friends may still offer their support by sharing a special memory or message by clicking the link above.
