Mary Ellen Mcphee

McPhee, Mary E. of Quincy formerly of Dorchester , died on March 12, 2010. She was 86. Beloved sister of the late Daniel J., James F. Jr., and Michael D. McPhee. Loving Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Boston and lived in Dorchester until moving to Quincy in 1986. She was a Secretary for the New England Telephone Company for 38 years, retiring in 1983. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America, a volunteer at St. Margaret’s Hopsital in Dorchester and an avid traveler. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours Tuesday 4 – 8 PM in the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock Street, QUINCY. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 9:15AM on Wednesday, prior to the Funeral Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 10 AM. Burial in Blue Hill Cemetery, Braintree. Donations in memory of Mary may be made to Sister Servants of the Eternal Word, 3721 Belmont Road, Irondale, AL 35210.
