Mary E. Small

Small, Mary E. of Weymouth, died May 2, 2014. Mary was born, raised, and educated in Boston then resided there for most of her life. She worked as an industrial nurse for TRW Fasteners at there factory and enjoyed traveling, reading, knitting, and music. Mary was the oldest of 6 and helped raise her brothers and sisters when her parents died young in 1934 and 1935. Mary loved being a big part of her niece’s and nephew’s lives.

Mary is survived by her nieces and nephews; Joanne Montgomery, Pamela Kelly, Patricia Robert, Christopher Robert, James Robert, William Small, Thomas Small, and Janet Bennett. Mary was predeceased by her beloved brothers Rev. William Small C.S.S.R., Rev. James Small C.S.S.R., Robert Small, and her sisters Patricia Mooney and Joan Robert.  

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Monday 5-8 PM in the McDonald Keohane Funeral Home SOUTH WEYMOUTH at 809 Main Street (Rte 18 opp. So. Shore Hospital)  

Relatives and friends will gather in the funeral home at 9:00 AM on Tuesday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Albert the Great Church, Weymouth at 10 AM. Burial at Mount Benedict Cemetery in West Roxbury to follow.
