Kelley, Mary E. “Nana” (Hernon) of Quincy died March 2, 2008. Devoted wife of the late Louis Kelley. Beloved mother of Louis Kelley and his wife Ann of San Antonio, TX, Richard J. Kelley and his wife Janet of Quincy, and the late Mary Kelley. Cherished “Nana” to 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Mary is predeceased by 4 brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews. Mary was born in Lettercallow, Conamara, County Galway, Ireland and came to America when she was 18 years old. Mary worked as a housekeeper at Carney Hospital in Boston for 20 years. She loved to garden, enjoyed the beach, and enjoyed the companionship of her dog. In her younger years, she enjoyed dancing and music. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Keohane Funeral Home, 785 Hancock St., QUINCY, Thursday at 10:30 AM. Funeral Mass in Saint Ann’s Church, Wollaston at 11:30 AM. Visiting hours Wednesday 4 – 8 PM. Burial in Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Mary E. Kelley may be made to the Macular Degeneration Foundation, PO Box 531313, Henderson, NV 89053.
