Mary E. Mellon

Mary Elizabeth (Kennedy) Mellon of Hull, 92, died peacefully surrounded by her loving family after a wonderful life on December 17, 2015. 

Mary was born May 18, 1923 to James and Mary Kennedy. She was predeceased by her loving husband Robert (Bob), son USMC Ret Col Robert Mellon, and her grandson John Michael Tarpey III. Mary is survived by her son James and his wife Margaret Mellon, daughter Mary and her husband John Tarpey, daughter Theresa and her husband Gary Pearsons, and daughter in law Barbara Mellon. Also survived by 12 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. 

Mary (Nana) loved her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She so enjoyed all of them until the end. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday 4-8 PM in the Pyne Keohane Funeral Home, 21 Emerald St. (off Central St.), HINGHAM. A Celebration of Life Service will be held in the funeral home at 8:30 AM on Monday prior to the Funeral Mass in St. Mary’s Parish in St. Ann’s Church, Hull at 10 AM. Burial in Hull Village Cemetery, Hull.
